SOME HISTORY
Co-owner Wyatt Philips grew up running earthmoving
equipment with his Dad. He is devoted to his profession and proud of
where hard work has taken his family business. From building drainage
ditches for farmers in the late 1960s, Phillips Grading and Construction has evolved
into a company that develops 100-acre tracts of land and more. You
can credit success to a work force of dedicated employees with strong
character.
Co-owner Lee Hardy joined the company in 2008. He also comes from a long history of construction experience. Having been vice-president of a fourth generation general contracting company himself, he has been involved in civil construction most of his life.
The business has quickly diversified in response to market conditions. In addition to our core business of grading and utility construction, our expertise now includes heavy highway and bridge construction for the Missouri Department of Transportation and other governmental entities. Our expansion included assembling a highly qualified management team and crews with many years of heavy highway experience.
DAY TO DAY
We go to great lengths to meet the demands of the construction business.
Work is time sensitive and when our customers need to talk to
us, we know we must be available. Our office phones and cell phones
are always turned on. When we take calls we know that often we will
be asked to reverse our plans in the middle of a project. We are quick
to move on project changes and realize the importance of staying
within your budget.

"Phillips Grading moves a job forward with speed and accuracy. Their
priority to remain current on the ever-changing regulations that
affect private and pubic projects is an asset to us. They also recognize
the importance of client needs and budgetary restrictions. Complementing
their sound business ethics is their unselfish dedication to community
service. This continued commitment to community and positive approach
to regulatory agencies and project completion are an addedbenefit
to our design building projects at Allstate Consultants."
